The slight drop compared to 2023 (-2%) is the result of the introduction of the new European rules, which now also include composite packaging containing aluminium. The Italian supply chain has demonstrated great adaptability, effectively managing an increase in the 8.5% placed on the market thanks to a proven collection, selection and treatment network.<\/p>\n Significant results also for beverage cans<\/strong>, with a recycling<\/strong> rate of 86.3%,<\/strong> despite a 16% increase in consumption.
