Pet Therapy at the Rizzoli Hospital in Bologna: the Cassoli Group supports the project
Concrete help for patients facing complex treatment pathways, which the Cassoli Group has continued to support through 2026.
PET THERAPY ENTERS THE ONCOLOGY WARDS
At the Rizzoli Orthopedic Hospital in Bologna, Animal-Assisted Education (AAI) interventions bring a simple yet valuable touch to the wards: connection, presence, and attention.
The initiative is made possible thanks to the commitment of the AGITO ODV association, led by President Sabrina Bergonzoni, and the collaboration with ChiaraMilla and Dr. Marina Casciani.
The project is active in the Oncology and Spine Surgery wards of the Third Clinic, where many patients face complex, lengthy, and demanding treatment journeys.
In such a delicate moment, contact with an animal is not just a caress, but becomes a moment in which the body relaxes and the mind slows down: a few minutes of interaction helps reduce anxiety and makes the treatment journey more manageable.
THE CASSOLI GROUP’S CONTRIBUTION TO A PROJECT OF HUMAN VALUE
Among the initiative’s supporters is the Cassoli Group, which has chosen to make a concrete contribution to the project’s realization.
The company funded the activities in 2025 and has already renewed its support for 2026, confirming its focus on initiatives of high human and social value.
The strength of this initiative lies precisely in its concreteness: small gestures that, in everyday life, can make a difference. It’s a reminder that, even outside of work, corporate commitment can contribute to generating a positive impact on the community.
